Chef Yi Wang AKA Chef Ricky been working in successful restaurants in the DMV area for more than 20 years. In 2018, he was an opening team member at Sushi Nakazawa DC. He worked closely with Chef Daisuke Nakazawa and Chef Masaaki Uchino, two of the best sushi chefs in the DMV area.
Chef Ricky is the kind of person who never stops learning and progressing. After he left Sushi Nakazawa DC. he went to work at Minibar & Barmin by Jose Andres to expand his culinary horizons and had the pleasure of working with many talented chefs from TFG Group. And now, he’s new concept OMAKASE @ BARRACKS ROW is his newest culinary venture. Chef Ricky welcomes you to come enjoy omakase DC and experience his passion for the culinary arts.
