FRANCOIS K. (WAVE MUSIC/DEEP SPACE/USA)　 1970年代にフランスからニューヨークへと移住し、DJ、プロデユーサー、リミキサーとして活動を開始。その後、20年以上に渡りダンス・ミュージック・シーンの最先端で活躍を続けている。1994年には自らのレーべルWAVE MUSICを設立し数多くの傑作をリリースし、絶大な人気を得ている。1996年からは、Danny Krivit、Joe Claussellと共にサンデー・アフタヌーン・パーティー“Body & SOUL”を開始。今や世界で最も音楽的影響力を持つパーティーとして成長している。そして2003年には、新たにダブをコンセプトにした“DEEP SPACE”というパーティーを開始。ダブという自由なサウンドを基にセレクトされた楽曲群を駆使し、まさに前人未到のミュージカル・ジャーニーへと誘う独自のスタイルを確立。最先端のテクノ、ダブステップから、今まで誰もプレイすることのなかったハウスやガラージ・クラシックス、ロック、ヒップホップなどの楽曲を縦横無尽にセレクトし超絶エフェクトでフロアを熱狂させているのだ。そのカリスマ的存在感は唯一無二と言え、現在の細分化したダンス・ミュージック・シーンの中でも、彼ほど音楽的挑戦を続けているDJは世界中を探しても、そういないと断言できる。現在もなお、多くのアーティストやDJ達に多大な影響を与え続けているFran?ois K.が幾度となくラブ・コールを送ってきた“ELECTRONIC TRIBE”に遂に登場することに。音楽を通してメッセージを発信し続けてきた彼が今の日本に伝えたい事とは？その答えは新年を迎えると共に明らかになるだろう。
