Dead Letter No. 9

63 Grand St
Brooklyn, NY 11249 United States

Two rooms, no brakes.

CARGO (10PM–3AM): Ultra Violet + Dada Cozmic
FOYER (9PM–3AM): Deo’Jorge + Atilla Ural

If you’ve heard any of these selectors before, you already know, this is not a night for standing still. Dancers to the front.

Dada Cozmic is a Dominican-born, Bronx-raised DJ, visual artist, and aspiring producer whose sound reflects the vibrant energy of New York’s Caribbean and queer underground scenes. Drawing from house, disco, dembow, reggaeton, and global club rhythms, her sets channel both the pulse of the dance floor and the cultural traditions of the islands. Deeply influenced by the new wave of Caribbean diasporic nightlife in NYC, Dada Cozmic brings a colorful, high-energy approach behind the decks—blending genres with instinct and celebrating the rhythms that shape her community and roots.

Ultra Violet comes in hot with a sound shaped by the Bronx and the cultural sprawl of New York City itself. Her sets are bold, nostalgic, and emotionally charged pulling house, dembow, disco, and left-field club cuts into fast-moving, genre-blurring journeys that hit with both heart and force. A monthly resident at House of Yes, and a familiar presence on major stages like Bonnaroo and Glitterbox, Ultra Violet brings festival-level intensity into the club, sharp instincts, fearless transitions, and an undeniable connection to the dance floor.

Deo’Jorge brings raw force and global perspective shaped by years of building dance floors from the ground up. As founder of Brooklyn’s beloved Hot Honey Sundays and Rio De Jainero’s O/NDA, his sound has moved crowds from Knockdown Center and Mirage to Carnaval marathons where his O/NDA series has drawn thousands and pushed well past the 18-hour mark. His sets are high-pressure and uncompromising, blending indie dance, dark disco, EBM, Italo, synth-driven cuts, and house into a relentless, propulsive arc. Road-tested on stages from Berlin to Bogotá and sharpened alongside artists like Axel Boman, Prins Thomas, and Dixon, Deo’Jorge knows how to control momentum stretching peaks, locking the room in, and driving the floor forward with purpose and power.

Joining him in Cargo is Atilla Ural (Moving Company). Born in Istanbul and based in New York, Atilla is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ whose sets fuse the soulful spectrum of electronic music deep house, funk, jazz, and acid grooves. A sought-after producer with credits alongside Sly5th Ave, Brandon Markell Holmes, Princess Nokia, The Flair, and City of the Sun, he’s built a reputation as one of NYC’s most versatile talents. On the decks, Atilla conjures up funky basslines, infectious drum grooves, and horn-driven hooks, layering in live synths and sequencers for a performance that’s immersive, powerful, and pure fun.
