Jenö remains one of San Francisco’s most enduring & beloved DJs. Developing a passion for music from an early age, he spent several years as a punk musician before embracing DJing and falling into the vibrant London warehouse scene of the mid 80s. Once Acid House hit, Jenö never looked back, becoming known for his heady Whoosh parties and his involvement in the very early days of the notorious Tonka Sound System.

In search of a more psychedelic groove, Jenö headed to San Francisco in the early 90s. Thus, began the Wicked Crew & their now legendary free Full Moon parties. These wild outdoor gatherings along with a unique approach to dance music were both catalyst & blueprint for much of the emerging scene on the West Coast, bringing international attention to San Francisco & it’s key role in the burgeoning US dance music community.
