Love & Respect lands in the foyer at Dead Letter No. 9 with a lineup that speaks to the heart of house music—three DJs carrying the culture in distinct yet deeply connected ways.

Antonio Ocasio is a pillar of New York’s house scene and founder of @tribalwinds . With decades of global releases and collaborations, his sound is rooted in soulful, Afro-influenced house—blending deep grooves, Latin rhythms, and jazz-driven textures grounded in NYC’s underground tradition.

MKL brings over 30 years behind the decks and decades in production. Founder of Lion1music, his work spans labels like Wave Music, Spiritual Life, and Night Grooves, with collaborators including François K and Femi Kuti. His project 3 Generations Walking reached international audiences, with releases featured on major compilations like Buddha Bar.

Zak Zodiak a multidisciplinary artist from San Francisco, now rooted in Brooklyn, channels his dance floor journey into community-driven nightlife. Working with Forever Rare @rare.jordan and @lovecitynyc and co-founding NO/FCKS with @brooklynterryef , his presence reflects a new generation honoring and expanding the culture.
