After a three-year break, WAMK returns to Detroit for our Memorial Day weekend gathering. We’re taking over the historic Music Hall in Downtown Detroit, minutes from Hart Plaza. The main stage lands on the rooftop overlooking the city, with an additional floor inside the Aretha Franklin Jazz Café. Phase 3 introduces Slow Jams Deck — a third stage curated by Slow Jams, Detroit’s long-running 100% vinyl gathering. Expect a deep, slow-burning journey through soul, funk, and beyond, right as you step onto the rooftop. Non-stop music from sunrise through day → night. Multiple stages. Marathon sets. A few unpredictable shenanigans. Re-entry only allowed for GA ticket holders.
