1 Watson has a rich history, dating back to the 1800s. It is said the 1Watson name is traced to an 1883 poker game in which a gunfighter named Thompson, known to have a foul temper, won a $200 marble tombstone from a stonecutter named Watson, who rightfully feared his sudden demise. It was the 1 and only time Thompson ever accepted anything other than cold, hard cash as winnings, but the silver-tongued Watson convinced him. As fate would have it, Thompson himself died in a shootout a few months later, and Watsons tombstone is said to mark the site of his grave today.
