Established in 1934, THE GALLEY is the oldest restaurant and bar in Santa Monica. The restaurant has a warm, candle-lit seafaring ambiance, including authentic portholes, a captain’s wheel, the South Seas Bar, as well as an outdoor heated patio decorated with nautical décor & some of the best steaks in Santa Monica! Whatever special touches your evening requires, THE GALLEY is the ideal choice for everything from a quiet, candle-lit birthday dinner, to a large anniversary party or corporate event. The lighting is great for first dates or date nights. Captain Ron says the lighting makes him look 10 years younger. For over three decades, Captain Ron has been at the helm of The Galley.
